Alongside the big names of international designers, this year, have been many companies that have joined the initiative by donating their products. The thirteenth edition of Convivio , show – Market that every year is able to stand out in an unprecedented way, saw the prowd participation of Andrea Montelpare SpA. The Marche leader in the children’s footwear industry, already sensitive to social issues and active in this field, supported the initiative presenting some models of its Andrea Montelpare, AM66 and Bumper lines.
Convivio (FieraMilanoCity, 7 – 12 June 2016) was founded in 1992 by Gianni Versace together with Gianfranco Ferre, Giorgio Armani and Valentino. It is a manifestation of charity among the most accredited internationally, European case-study that involves the biggest names in fashion, art and design, to sensitize institutions and mobilize the individual volunteers.
This long journey of solidarity has persisted over time until today as a project that combines artistic and social sensitivity to achieve a specific purpose: to ask the above mentioned worlds to offer free their products, sold during the event to 50% of the list price. Visited for all five days by more than 50,000 people, it closes every year the event with amazing results, to date never below 2,000,000 euro of revenue.
All proceeds are donated to ANLAIDS , Italian Association for the Fight Against the AIDS, which thanks to Convivio, supports research, volunteering at home or in the hospital, support to the hospice of Abbiategrasso, the school project, support to dental care and the projects for information and prevention in collaboration with the European Community.
